These features
make the Power Moller 24 ideal driving force for the zero pressure
accumulation (ZPA) system, that runs on demand basis. Conveyors
incorporating the Power Moller 24 has indeed tremendous success
for being employed at large logistics and distribution centers,
often reducing the noise level by 10dB, energy (electricity)
cost by 40% and maintenance cost by as much as 60% compared
with the conventional conveyor systems.

| The
typical application of the Power Moller 24 is to slave several idler
rollers via O rings to form a drive zone along with a photo sensor
as illustrated below. Conveyor section usually consists of two to
four of such drive zones, multiple of which are jointed on plug and
play basis, to form a complete zero pressure accumulation conveyor
along with PLC or built-in ZPA logic motor driver cards. Because it
employs no pneumatic, the installation is very easy and quick, and
the reconfiguration to meet with the line change requirement is also
easy and quick.

| Because
the system employs few disposable components, the cost of maintenance
can be minimum. Conveyor is quite enough to have mobile phone conversation
beside it. In addition, the zero pressure accumulation system incorporating
the Power Moller 24 can significantly save the energy thanks to run
on demand motor operation, and can safely transfer each tote without
bumping. Thus, energy and maintenance costs far overweighs the capital
costs. This is new generation of driving force for environmentally
friendly conveyor systems. The Power Moller 24 is also suitable for
small belt drive, requiring frequent starts and stops. |
 
The Power Moller 24
is available with 48.6mm (1.9") and 50.0mm diameter roller (zinc plated
carbon steel), different motor types, and with roller tube length from
350mm up to 800mm. Roller speed (peripheral velocity) is chosen from the
8 different types from 5m/min to 55m/min, and the speed can be varied.
Options include ultra high speed up to 180m/min., tapered unit, mechanical
brake, rubber lagging, stainless steel enclosure. The unit is supplied
with 11.1mm (7/16") hexagonal spring-loaded shaft for quick mounting and
removal, motor driver card and mounting brackets to hold the unit stationary
in the conveyor frame. The motor driver has integral potentiometer to
vary the motor speed, thermal overload device to protect the motor, and
error signal output along with LEDs for self diagnosis. Visit our separate
